McCollum Memorial Picnic Area

Looking for a great place that is quiet and relaxing to eat your lunch? How about you and a group of friends gathering for a barbeque? Want to have a family reunion in the park? McCollum Memorial Picnic Area has some picnic tables, and grills set up under some shade trees that is just begging for you to bring your watermelon and fried chicken for a day in the park.

McCollum Memorial Picnic Area is just in between Edmiston Park and Veteran's Park. To Access this area, you will need to head North on Main Street over the viaduct across from Grand Savings bank. Turn left onto Austin Ave. just past the Decatur Assembly of God Church. Go West on Austin Ave. until you get to the top of the hill and turn right into Edmiston Park. You will want to drive towards the concession stand, as you get close to the stand you will see the parking lot for this picnic area.
